Seniors: Make time to drop by the Go Center to see if you are on the list needing MCV4 vaccination. Remember, all students on a college campus must show proof to admissions that you are up to date. Make sure to talk to your counselor if you have any questions.

Seniors who plan to attend UTRGV here are some important dates:

Aug. 23, 2017- Brownsville Vaquero Round Up (new student welcome event)

Please remember to bring a copy of any scholarships you have been awarded so that we may put on file regardless whether you will accept or not.

 

Seniors, if  you have applied to any university through Apply Texas, please notify the recruiter for that University, if you are no longer interested in attending their university. They need it in writing so that they can stop sending you emails etc. Stop by the GO center to get the recruiters email address.

Seniors: the following scholarships are available and may be picked up at the counseling lobby:

Ozarka "Every Drop Counts"- Deadline: May 26th

TSTC Scholarships- Deadline: June 1st

Seniors, are you planning on pursuing your education in one of the following programs of study: psychology, sociology, social work, rehabilitative counseling, psychiatric nursing, or another mental health field? If so, please consider apply for the Cameron County Mental Health Force Scholarship. Applications can be picked up in the lobby of the counseling department and the Go Center. Deadline is May 31st to apply.

Students who have sign up to take the ACT or SAT test this summer, remember you need to add the four colleges or universities where you would like your scores to be mail to free of charge. This needs to be added before you take your test. It will cost you $12.50 for each report if you select them after you have taken your test.

If you did not pick up a study guide for the ACT, you can do so at the Go Center.

Students who signed up for the SAT a study guide is provided online at Collegeboard.org

Seniors, if you are no longer in need of your textbooks, please return them to the book-room. Remember, you MUST be cleared with textbooks in order to participate in any Graduation Ceremonies. Beginning on Wednesday May 17th, Mr. Ontiveros will be in the book-room at 7:30 a.m. With the exception of 6th period, you may return your textbooks throughout the day and during the Lunch periods. All other students may also return their textbooks as well. However, please check with your Teachers before doing so.

Also, please return your locks to Ms. Quintero at Library. Please be courteous and clean out your locker when returning your lock.
